Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick and gospel singer Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. In Newark Whitney, she began singing with the choir of the church in the early years of her childhood. When she was 15 years old, she joined her mother in singing background vocals on Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. Her mother, Jermaine and Lou Rawls were among the performers she performed with. She was also briefly modeling for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. The singer was first a featured performer for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. Her vocal quality performance attracted the attention of the major label Arista which she joined in 1983. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut album for an artist in the year. Songs like The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Good Love, and the song Saving all My Love were all released from the album. They helped Houston to achieve seven US top tens that surpassed even the top tens of The Beatles. It was the initial US year the album has sold in excess of 3 million units. It went on to be purchased by more than 25 million worldwide which earned her her first Grammy. Its Whitney 1987 album, with the songs Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as hits, helped build upon her success. However, the 1992 movie The Bodyguard sealed her spot as one of the most successful musicians in history. The film and her part in it was not well received, but the soundtrack and her rendition of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You charted for several months on the charts and she sold nearly 44 million singles and albums across the globe. In the same year, she got married to Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown together on March 23, 1993. Around this time that her widely documented drug use began and by 1996 she was a daily addict.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz in the way she's popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political correspondent. The anchorwoman produced a number of shows on weekends on the network, which include Evans & Novak: Late Edition" as well as Inside Politics." She was previously employed by NBC and CBS.
