Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer who was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th August, 1963. Her parents are gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick is also a singer. The mother of Whitney Houston and her daughter began to sing professionally together at the New Hope Baptist Church of Newark in the year Whitney was just fifteen years old. They performed the back vocals on Chaka Khan's track in 1978 Im Every Woman. In the following years, she was a background vocals for Jermaine Jackson and Lou Rawls and her mother. Her work as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material was noticed by major record labels, including Arista who she signed in 1982 and was with them for the rest of her life. Whitney Houston, her debut album, released in 1985 was the highest-selling album for an unproven singer. Songs like The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Love and Saving the Day and All My Love were all released on the album. The songs allowed Houston to reach 7 US top tens, which surpassed even those of The Beatles. The album sold three million copies in its initial season in the US and went on to make 25 million copies worldwide, earning them the first six Grammys. Whitney, her album Whitney was released in 1987 and featuring the popular songs What Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, built upon her previous success. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that made her the top selling album in music. While the movie itself and the performances on screen were not widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her rendition of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the charts of albums and singles for months, and was sold at 44 million copies all over the world. The same year that she had her daughter Bobbi she married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. The beginning of her addiction to drugs came in the middle of 1993 and in 1996, she'd been a frequent user.
Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American journalist and anchorwoman who serves as a political correspondent at CNN. The shows she hosts on weekends are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. The awards and honors she has received include being named to the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. A lot of young journalists praise Bash for her incredible reporting and anchoring capabilities. In her personal life the graduate from George Washington University is a caring mother for her single son. She was twice married but is not currently married. Bash is a fan of all her followers.
